Larry Lampkin is an American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter known for his passionate vocals, hot guitar licks and exciting showmanship. He was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas where he learned to play the guitar. He began writing songs in his teens as a way of avoiding a lot of the trouble that many of his peers encountered. He was influenced by local and nationally known Blues and Soul Artists, who played the legendary "Blue Bird" club, located just a few blocks from his childhood home. He was later able to broaden his skills as a guitarist and vocalist by performing and recording with various recording artists throughout the United States. Larry has crafted a unique brand of Texas Blues, mixing it with soul, funk, rock and country. He is a sophisticated songwriter that writes from his heart and everyday life experiences. Fans of the American music will appreciate his contemporary style, savvy rhythm and passion for delivering the ultimate blues experience.
