Oops! We’ve done it again!. This week at Hiro we’ve got a top notch double bill just for YOU!!. Not only will Gomma Recording Artist Headman be playing an exclusive NY DJ set for us, but John Pugh of Chk Chk Chk and Free Blood will also be taking to the decks.
Headman has recently made a name for himself with the indie rock crowd by remixing the likes of Annie, Franz Ferdinand, Royksopp, Cut Copy and Radio 4. His new album, On (to be released shortly on Gomma Records) features collaborations with Erol Alkan, Stephan Dewaele from Soulwax, Ed Laliq and of course Matty Safer from The Rapture.
His style is electro/rock, and we love him very very much (he had us at ‘Birth School Work Death’ from his ‘Manhead’ album, which we still play all the time).
Alex English and Peter Makebish will also be Djing.
