Landmark Theatres would like to announce a stylish new bar in its Oriental Theatre. Patrons will now be able to enjoy cocktails, wine by the bottle or glass and beer from Milwaukee and the world. Patrons are welcome to bring their drinks into the auditorium, so they may enjoy them prior, during and after their movie-going experience.

The Oriental Theatre is Milwaukee's only operating movie palace, having opened in 1927, and operated by Landmark since 1976. The Oriental is at the heart of Milwaukee's alternative Eastside, located a mile north of downtown, a mile south of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and 5 blocks west of Lake Michigan. The Oriental has been lauded in many national publications over the years. It was recently named one of the ten best theatres in America by Entertainment Weekly and won the Marquee award from Box Office magazine.
