Info: “Punk Funk Meets Afro Beat” Time Out London. During the month of March, The Jazz Spot celebrates women jazz musicians. The entire month is dedicated to performances by female musicians. March 24th will feature the Femm Nameless and special guests. This all female afro world beat has been holding it down in their home town of New York City and Internationally for five years.

The current ‘Femm” line up will include band leader, vocalist and trombonist, Toli Nameless (Sly Dunbar) the group’s MC / Percussionist, ISHEA (New WORLD Theater), and RISING jazz guitarist Lily Maase (suiteunraveling). New introductions to the Femm Nameless line up include fierce newcomer drummer and visual artist DeAriesha Mac (lyons gate), and saxophonist Meilana Gillard (Charlie Persip/Black Diamond Orchestra). Surprise guest joining the Femm on bass, flute etc. some guest FEMMS ANDROMEDA Turre - vocal, V.Denessa Monk - bass more TBA.
