Alternative indie/pop bands to rock The Stoop, an unparalleled Hell’s Kitchen Music Venue.
NEW YORK, New York – April 25, 2011 – The Stoop, a distinctive music venue in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen is thrilled to present an exciting night of indie alternative rock and pop bands featuring NYC favorite Lachi, rocking band American Jettison, and innovative singer/songwriter Koo Chung with special guest Jason Min. Lachi has been featured on Oprah Radio, MTV Iggy, NPR, CBS Radio, The Onion, and various other entertainment outlets not to mention her performances at a growing list of famed venues and festivals including Joe’s Pub, SXSW, and more. She’s drawn in a loyal following with her haunting melodies and lyrics complemented by her piano stylings. Legally blind and supported by blind band members, Lachi is a force to be reckoned with, as she wields the melodies and composes songs inspired by life’s trials with a grace like no other. The event will be emceed by Chris MacIntosh (a.k.a. Grandfather Rock) of WCWP Radio. Doors open at 7:30 pm., and showtime is at 8pm. While the concert is free, The Stoop will be accepting suggested donations of $12. Receive a free gift with the full suggested cover. All drinks and concessions including beer and wine are inexpensively priced under $4.

The Stoop venue and concert series is presented by Music Forum of Church For All Nations, Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. Church for All Nations is sponsoring the series in providing the landmark venue as a contribution to the cultural and spiritual life of Hell's Kitchen.
