Ona Hahs Tenny, "Labor Rights, Politics, and Trade Liberalization in
Kenya"
Tuesday, November 30, 4:30pm. Room B684, School of Social Work.

Ona Hahs Tenny, now a third year student at U. Michigan Law School,
traveled to Kenya in the summer of 2003 to research labor rights in Kenya's
free trade zones. The study was coordinated by the Lawyer's Committee for
Human Rights and funded by the law school and ILIR. Hahs Tenny will talk
about the interaction between trade and labor rights in Kenya, particularly
in light of the politics in play at that time.

This report on Hahs Tenny's research is hosted by the ILIR's Labor and
Global Change Program. Light refreshments will be served.
