Labayen Dance/SF Spring Season 2012: Revivals & Premieres April 20, 2012

Fri-Sat, April 20-21 at 8pm & Sun, April 22 at 3pm

"Labayen Dance SF Announces The Company's Spring 2012 Season: "Revivals & Premieres" Featuring Enrico Labayen's award winning work "Cloth" which won the Isadora Duncan Award for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography and "en-Gulf-ed", nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Visual Design. The season will also premiere "Kulang and Dasal" a large scale work that delves into the perception of memory and reason through narrative driven scenarios and choreographic explorations. This season will also unveil "Rice Blues", a light-hearted romp inspired by the Harajuku District fashion of Japan. Also, the revival of "Frida: Broken Column" and the world premiere of Laura Bernasconi's "Marriage Song", a dance duet that explores the spiritual, personal and physical support that connects and intertwines human relationship at ODC Theater on April 20-21 at 8pm & 22 at 3pm.
