"LA Street Scenes 3:
Everyone Has a Story" is a compelling and powerful experience that depicts the
true moments of those who live and die on LA's
streets. Based on actual events, the play is constructed from
original stories written by the young men and women who lived them. The
stories were developed as part of Create
Nows ongoing writing workshops led by writer and director, Diane Namm
at a local detention camp, foster group home and drug rehabilitation facility.
Each year, Namm adds new stories to this organic production, re-constructing
the story framework to incorporate new narratives.
The VIP
wine and hors d'oeuvres reception begins at 6:30 pm as does the premium silent auction, which raises significant funds to help
high-risk and at-risk youth in our community. The performance then begins at 8 pm.VIP's also receive priority seating and a gift bag.
