Opera's own, real-life pair of lovers—the ever- charismatic duo of soprano Angela Gheorghiu and tenor Roberto Alagna, who sang together in Prospect Park for the Met Opera's park concert in 2008 —star in this brand-new production by Nicolas Joël. Marco Armiliato conducts.
