In 2008, Daniel Hope, whose own family was forced to flee Nazi Berlin, organized a commemorative concert on the 70th anniversary of Kristallnacht at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport. Now, he brings his “astonishingly beautiful playing” (The Birmingham Mail) and “wonderful depth of tone and nobility” (The Guardian) to the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto and unites with Jeffrey Kahane for the concerto by Schulhoff, one of the composers silenced during the 1930s and 40s.

* Jeffrey Kahane, conductor & piano
* Daniel Hope, violin

- Schulhoff - Double Concerto for Violin and Piano – arranged from the original for flute and piano by Daniel Hope
- Mendelssohn - Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64 (original 1844 version)
- Weill - Symphony No. 2
