La Caja Museo de Arte Contemporaneo / The Box Contemporary Museum of Art February 7, 2008

Curated by Martha Papadimitriou, the exhibition is a museum inside a museum featuring twenty-one prominent artists from Mexico. The exhibition includes a miniature contemporary museum within the Mexic-Arte Museum space (The Small), and paintings and sculptures displayed in a traditional museum gallery setting (The Huge). The miniature art works by Texas artists that were exhibited in The Latino Art Wing, in conjunction with La Caja, will be part of the silent auction at Taste of Mexico on April 18th.
