Candidates running for Los Angeles city council, city attorney, and city controller in the May 21 election will address questions on the environment, transportation, and the economy at a multi-contest forum. Organized by the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters, Climate Resolve, and Green LA Coalition, in collaboration with dozens of organizations dedicated to a better Los Angeles, the forum will cover the topics that matter most for the future of Los Angeles.

The City Attorney, Controller, and City Council members voters elect on May 21 will set priorities and policies that will affect all Angelenos for years to come. This forum is a unique opportunity to understand each candidate’s position on the critical, far-reaching issues that will determine how Los Angeles will address the challenges ahead. Discussion topics include public transit, renewable energy, water resources,green jobs, green building standards, climate-change preparedness, open space, waste and recycling programs, and air quality. The event will include hundreds of participants. Candidate comments will be recorded and disseminated via YouTube.
