Welcome to Kyoto Queer Rainbow Festival

On September 16th and 17th 2006 in Kyoto, we are planning to have a complex event with film screening, food stands, workshops, live music, performance art and exhibitions. The main subject of the event is sexuality, but we can NOT limit our interests to only sexuality issues!
We are looking for staff members who work with us for the festival. If you are interested in our festival, don?t hesitate to contact us.

Mission statement
?Rainbow/nijiiro? has many colorful meanings. It is famous for the symbol of sexual minorities? rights and diversity in the world. And is also used as a symbol of ecoactivity, anti-war movements and so on.
We are proud of our QUEERNESS, and we don?t choose the NORMAL way of life. We, the Queer Rainbow Festival, try to create an event and the world with less discriminations and less prejudices. We hope that each one with colorful various status can feel comfortable and happy there.

Meeting
-Everyone has a right to attend the committee meeting.
-Everyone can bring one?s own plans into the festival. Please come to the meeting first and please propose your plans.
-Our meeting is mainly held in Japanese language.
