Kris Kimura Quintet December 7, 2010

The KKQ (Kris Kimura Quintet) is a collaborative effort of five creative individuals, each with his own musical experiences. The group has performed internationally, impressing even the most discriminating audiences. In addition to original compositions, the KKQ also performs songs that have become staples in the jazz tradition, including the works of Johnny Mercer, Jerome Kern, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, Billy Strayhorn, and many others. The KKQ also performs latin jazz including the compositions of Antonio Carlos Jobim.
