The Bay Area's Largest Juried Weekend Crafts & Music Fair celebrates its 35th Anniversary in 2005. Northern California collectors and craft enthusiasts will meet 220 craft artists from throughout the Western States. Fair highlights include a Katrina Relief Quilt Project, a music and book store, a youth corner featuring work from hip-hop artists, an exhibition of crafts made with recycled materials, presentations by local nonprofit organizations and a selection of ethnic, vegetarian and locally produced gourmet food and drink. Proceeds from the Fair benefit KPFA 94.1 FM, the country's first nonprofit listener-sponsored, free speech public radio station.

Live music and spoken-word performances are part of the Fair's nonstop entertainment. Headliners will include legendary Latin jazz duo John Santos and John Calloway; Destani Wolf; the young brother and sister team, Samora and Elena Pinderhughes; the Bay Area's own Emmitt Powell; and The Gospel Elites.
