The 36th Annual KPFA Crafts & Music Fair, the largest weekend holiday craft fair of its kind in Northern California, returns to the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco. Every year, more than 10,000 collectors, craft enthusiasts and holiday shoppers attend this signature event that features high-quality, original work created by 220 craftsmakers and artists from throughout the United States and live performances by some of the Bay Area’s leading musicians. Proceeds from the Fair benefit KPFA 94.1 fm, the country's first nonprofit listener-sponsored, free speech public radio station.

The Fair offers non-stop, live appearances by local musicians. Highlights include a live tribute to the late Phil Elwood headed up by Richard Hadlock, KCSM’s respected host of The Annals of Jazz, legendary Jazz pianist Larry Vuckovitch, a Singer/Songwriter Bash with acclaimed artists like Berkeley rocker Etienne de Rocher and several young, up and coming artists from Berkeley’s Jazzschool, hailed as one of the most innovative and comprehensive schools of Jazz in the country. KPFA 94.1 fm will broadcast live from the event both day.
