[KONTROL] underground w/ Galoppierende Zuversicht September 8, 2007

Called by Ricardo Villalobos the "Best Techno Act in the World", MUTEK headliners Galoppierende Zuversicht return to [KONTROL] for a highly anticipated encore performance. Using only analog gear and homemade instruments, their two man fully improvised performance has gained them world acclaim and left a trail of dancefloor destruction. Their last Bay Area appearance, at our first [KONTROL] event ever, reached capacity before midnight and ended with a screaming dancefloor begging for more. This time it goes down at SF's most incredible intimate underground spot in 16.8.2 surround sound. Don't Sleep!!

The first [KONTROL] was probably my favorite and these guys are the reason. A more perfect example of what we are trying to bring to S.F. I haven't seen. The skill and focus that is required to lasso the doomsday machine they have created into a coherent set of dance music has to be seen to be believed.

Tired from Burningman? So what, so am I, and I'll still be out there tearing it up!! Truly not to be missed.
