Mr. Amish Davda is living a luxurious life with his family, buying everything on EMI, but loses his job due to recession and has no means of paying his debtors back. Left with no choice, he is on the verge of commiting sucide but his father Manilal comes to his aid and agrees to help him out. The play effectively turns into a comedy show that has the father and son conjuring up weird ideas to avoid the debtors.
