Kolaynu's Erev Rosh Hashanah Shofar Service September 29, 2008

Kolaynu invites you to Erev Rosh Hashanah Shofar Services, celebrating the Jewish New Year in Santa-Cruz-Style -- participatory, egalitarian, progressive, creative, and peace-oriented with cantorial soloist Jonnie Pekelny. Children, flowers, and percussion instruments welcome! All are welcome. We welcome individuals and families of every configuration and orientation - interfaith, questioning, LGBTIQQ, and friends of Jews. Come as you are -- no need to "dress up" (please refrain from wearing fragrances in consideration of those who may be sensitive). Contributions in units of "chai" (18) for "life" are in keeping with the tradition of the holiday and donations of any amount are gratefully accepted. No one turned away for lack of funds.
