Take a musical road trip from São Paulo to Tel Aviv ….

Chana Rothman is a Brooklyn-based poet, songwriter, and vocalist, returning home to Toronto for the launch of her debut album, We Can Rise (Oyhoo Records). A funky mix of folk, reggae, hip hop, and rock, Chana’s bilingual (Hebrew-English) earthy vocals echo her commitment to dialogue and social justice. The message is unity through music. Critics are hailing We Can Rise as “brimming with talent” (Elmore Magazine).

Opening Act: Samba Elégua
The high-energy Afro-Brazilian fusion percussion ensemble, led by Chana’s brother, Jonathan Rothman.
