Featuring A Night of Live Music By Some of the Industry’s Most Talented Artists & Bands Including Michael Grimm, Tyrone Wells, Satellite, Jamestown Revival, Of Verona and Allen Stone

(LOS ANGELES; July 25, 2011)- Koffeehouse Music, LLC in partnership with the County of Los Angeles presents Koffeehouse’s 5th Annual “Evening of Independence,” an evening of live music and fundraising on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 8:00p.m. at the magical outdoor Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood (2580 Cahuenga Blvd. East). The evening will feature some of the most talented emerging, independent artists and special guests including last season’s America’s Got Talent Winner, MICHAEL GRIMM, one of Southern California’s most popular, independent singer/songwriters TYRONE WELLS, the Austin-based indie duo (with a Southern twist) JAMESTOWN REVIVAL, Hits Magazine’s #1 “Artist to Watch” of 2011 ALLEN STONE, MTV's "A Band to Know in 2011" OF VERONA and LA-based power pop rock band, SATELLITE.

100% of the evening’s net proceeds will benefit music education by supporting the Fender Music Foundation (www.fendermusicfoundation.org). The main stage will be hosted by award-winning E! News correspondent and host, ANASTASIA ROARK.

This event is for ALL-AGES and don't forget to bring a picnic and wine and enjoy pre-show music on the Edison Plaza stage from Riverside-based indie rocker MOI, Australian singer/songwriter SCOTT MELLIS and stars of Bravo's new reality series Platinum Hit JACKIE TOHN and JES HUDAK between 6:00p.m. and 7:30p.m.

“When we started these intimate showcases in my backyard nearly seven years ago, we had no idea we would be participating in the promotion and production of so many high-profile concerts and music festivals years later,” says Koffeehouse Co-Founder Jeremy Koff. “We’re extremely honored to have worked with so many talented artists and take pride in giving them a platform to share their extraordinary ability with the music industry.”

Artists that have previously performed in Koffeehouse’s annual “Evening of Independence” concerts include 2011 Grammy winner Jon Foreman (frontman of Switchfoot) with Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), Sixpence None the Richer, Alex Band (The Calling), A Fine Frenzy (Virgin), Rocco Deluca & The Burden (Ironworks), Matt Scannell (frontman of Vertical Horizon), MoZella (Universal), Trevor Hall, Katharine McPhee (Decca/Universal), Jon McLaughlin (Island Def Jam), Kina Grannis, Ryan Star and many others.
