The first Knoxville Geek Breakfast. If you're technology-minded, you're a geek. You don't have to be a programmer to be a geek, although you might be! Regardless of your degree of geekiness, this will be a great opportunity to network with other geeks in the Greater Knoxville area. Join us for breakfast and help get a monthly tradition started. No problem if you have to arrive late. I'm sure some of us will be around until at least 9:00, if not longer.

UPDATE: We'll be collecting non-perishable food items for Second Harvest Foodbank. Biggest need is for canned tuna and peanut butter. http://www.secondharvestknox.com/

"A Geek Breakfast is a monthly community-driven meeting for local (and visiting) technology-minded people. Each month attendees congregate over bacon, eggs and plenty of coffee to discuss topics like social media, digital marketing, design, programming, and ways to better their communities." http://www.geekbreakfast.org

I'll be there. Sounds like a great excuse for a lot of coffee.

Sounds like this would be so much fun. Sadly, I have to be in court in Blount County bright and early that morning, so I doubt I can make it there and back in time.

ashleystravel - now that you're signed up as interested, I'll get info out to you on the date and location for next month. Maybe we'll see you then.
