KNOCK KNOCK!by Patrick McLaughlin is the winner of the 2008 McLaren Memorial Comedy Playwrighting Competition. The play begins with a fight between Midge and Alan while they are on their way to Debbie and Phil's home for dinner. Midge locks herself in the bathroom of master suite and refuses to come out. Despite the efforts of her fantic husband and concerned friends, Midge stubbornly resists. Despite the many injuries to pride and flesh from the zany antics all is forgiven.
