The February “Mini-Class” will feature a mock cable mug cozy. Have you always wanted to learn the mock cable stitch but thought it was too difficult? If so, this is the class for you! To participate in this class, you will need to know how to cast on stitches and the knit and purl stitch. All other skills needed for this project will be taught during the class. If you are interested in this “mini-class,” you will need to contact Sherry Kowalski for a copy of the materials list. The Library Knitting Group meets the third Tuesday of the month. The group is open to knitters of all skill levels. Everyone should bring a project to work on. If you are interested in participating in the charity knitting project, we are knitting lap blankets and shawls for the Willow Point Nursing Home or hats, scarves, and mittens for Catholic Charities. For more information, you may contact Sherry Kowalski by phone (778-6423) or email ([email protected]).
