hi hama364!
actually we had our first KLickr meetup on 25th march 2006. that happened to be the 4th saturday of the month so we decided to have subsequent monthly meetups on this day, so that we would not have to keep voting for dates, and anyone who cannot turn up for the current month can easily find out when the next one will be.
we ended up having our 2nd meetup on 22nd april and now our 3rd one this coming saturday.
i'm not on the singapore meetup group so i don't know what's going on there ;-)
