Kiwi Primary School, Bulford Armed Forces Day Uniform Fun Day June 26, 2009

Details:
We are having a fun day at our school to celebrate the armed forces day. The children will pay £1 to come to school in 'uniform', but not school uniform (i.e. of a club or society they belong to). We will have unformed members of our community (mostly military) coming in dressed in a range of uniforms to talk to the children and pose for paintings/sketching. We are hoping the children will have the chance to experience some drill. We are then inviting families to join us for a barbecue lunch and a fun afternon where we will raise money through stalls at a mini fete.
