'Kiss Me Kate' is a Tony Award-winning musical that provides the audience with a glimpse into the creative process of theatre from both a backstage and on-stage perspective. As a touring company stages a musical version of Shakespeare's 'Taming of the Shrew,' backstage the actors are embroiled in personal dramas that rival Shakespeare's. In true Elizabethan fashion, spectacle fills the stage with intricate dances and great Cole Porter songs such as 'I Hate Men,' 'Too Darn Hot,' and 'Brush up Your Shakespeare.'
