Kiss Her for the Kid formed in the late summer of 2003. They began as friends playing music together in a basement in Seattle. Since then, they have played many shows in and around the Seattle area. K.H.F.T.K.'s live shows posses a raw energy that tickles the musical funny bone of their ever growing fan base. Today, they are undeniably one of the best underground bands in Seattle. Kiss Her for the Kid writes unforgettable pop-rock-fizz tunes. Their songs are well crafted, melodic, and bursting with energy. They make you want to dance and reminisce at the same time. They exude an indie-punk style that everyone is welcome to enjoy. Their music been compared to The Pixies, X, The B-52's, and Liz Phair to name a few.
