Kirklees Armed Forces Week. Flag Raising June 21, 2010

To mark the start of Armed Forces Week a short ceremony will be held at Cleckheaton War Memorial when the Flag will be unfurled by Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire Councillor Margaret Bates after she has addressed all those present.Prayers will be said by Father Peter Smith. A Bugler will sound The Last Post and a minutes silence will be observed. At the conclusion of the short but meaningful Ceremony everyone is invited for refreshments at St.Pauls Catholic church. Please view this as an invitation to attend and show your support for our Armed Forces.
