Kirklees Armed Forces Day Celebration June 26, 2010

The Mayor of Kirklees invites any serving Forces personnel and ex-servicemen/women to join the parade from the Town Hall at 11.00am to the Park for a DRUMHEAD SERVICE. The West Yorkshire Fire Service Band will lead the parade and play at the Park. There will be a FLYPAST by a Dakota from the RAF at 12.05pm. This event,at which the Mayor will give the Address, is a large prestigious event with hundreds of the general public attending. The Mayor invites you all to show your support for our Armed Forces. Programmes will be available at the Park to enable everyone to participate in the proceedings.
