KINGFISHER Derby 2009 July 12, 2009

The exalted Bangalore Summer Meeting 09, The Kingfisher Derby will be held in the grounds of Bangalore Turf Club on the 12th of July. At the Kingfisher Derby 2008, the filly which was a clear favorite - Set Alight, set expectations right by winning the coveted race in record time! The total prize money stacked up to a whopping 1.18 crores. This year, the stakes are expected to gross over 1.25 crores.
