Kim Baker and her band perform a benefit concert for Music in Schools Today, a non-profit organization that promotes music education in underserved Bay Area public schools and communities.

“Lots of kids dream of singing and playing in front of a cheering audience. I’m living proof that music education pays off,” says Baker. A part of the ticket proceeds will go to the Music Mentors program, where music professionals mentor young musicians and those interested in working in the music business

Kim Bakers’ voice and songwriting style have been compared to such greats as Melissa Etheridge and Chrissie Hynde. Honest and insightful, her music draws you in emotionally and leaves your mind and heart full and satiated.
