About Nikita-(listed::The Endup::Non-fat):

It wasn't too long ago that NIKITA ventured out from Denver, Colorado to pursue his dreams of working in the music industry.  A lifelong love affair with music began as a young boy playing piano, singing and dancing… It wasn't until later in life when Nikita attended a warehouse party that would change his life forever (Circa 93') - Nikita became one of Denver's 'underground party-scene offspring'!  In 2000, Nikita left Colorado for California…

In the past eight years Nikita's perseverance and pure love for quality dance music has placed him among the top DJs of San Francisco's world-famous club scene.  In 2005 Nikita was chosen to host his own radio show on Northern California's Energy 92.7 FM – The Massive Mix.  It was Nikita's raw talent that also landed him a residency at San Francisco's legendary nightclub, The EndUp.

Performing anywhere from 2 to 8 hours; Nikita's playfulness behind the decks takes you on a ride seamlessly blending sick minimal grooves, heavy basslines, melodic synths, and twisted beats, while still keeping it soulful and deep.

Nikita has played along side the likes of Lee Burridge, Steve Lawler, Steve Bug, M.A.N.D.Y., Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), Craig Richards and Damian Lazarus, with inspirations coming from friends like Ms. Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson and Danny Tenaglia.

Through his broad musical taste and genre bending, Nikita has always managed to create a unique dance floor experience that continues to draw a diverse audience.

About Roman Stange:

Roman Stange is the dark horse of the Auralism stable in more ways than one. Experiencing Techno's birth in the 80's in Detroit,Stange has Soul and Techno music in his blood. In the early 90's Stange emerged on the other side of the Techno underground with a penchant for immersive soulful sound scapes ringing to a 4/4 beat. After relocating to Boston, Roman quickly began pushing minimal, IDM, and industrial against the city's prevailing indie rock scene, performing leftfield live PAs with the renowned Toneburst & Lollygagger collectives, which also included Hrvatski (Keith Whitman Fullerton), DJ C, Mr. In Ter Rupt , Soplerfo, DJ/Rupture, and ESP.

Based in San Francisco since 2006, Stange has come out of retirement and has taken up the West Coast's vibrant dance-floor culture as his personal call to arms, hearkening back to his Detroit roots to create immersive, psychedelic groovers blooming with mechanized soul. 2008 will see several Roman Stange cuts out on Auralism,including remixes from Dave Aju, Elon, Jason Short, and rumor has it a secretive Spacetime Continuum (Jonah Sharp) remix. Jason Short's remix of Stange's Paratroupr has already been charted and mixed by Jonas Kopp, Habersham, Elon, and Alland Byallo. Roman is also one half of Luther Mandross with Jason Short, and one half of Sinthe with Craig Kuna of [KONTROL].

About Rodrigo Quinonez:

Rodrigo is definitely someone who should be listened to closely. Influenced by a wide variety of music -ranging from deep house to much darker and assertive notes- he crosses many music styles, making his sound hard to pigeonhole. As a constant, his signature approach to heavy rhythm always pulses through.

At 14 he became aware of house and techno, consequently growing incredibly fond of electronic music. The idea of controlling/finessing sound surely became the main interest in his life and in the recent years he has dedicated his time to understanding audio technology. Along with a few like-minded artists he hosts the bi-weekly party 'SONUS' in Berkeley, CA with the intention of expanding the techno presence in the SF East Bay. By ignoring the bandwagon, he's kept true to a darker style, always administering a heavy drop in his groove. He continuously takes energetic sound home to El Salvador with his techno affair 'RESET'. Back there he's debuted at popular and curve-shifting weekly and monthly parties as well as much larger scale events held in San Salvador's nightlife hot spots. He's shared stages with renowned artists such as Carl Cox, Donald Glaude, as well as some talented fellow locals. Adapting quickly to various crowds he's earned fruitful recognition.

Inevitably, the intent to draw from energy in subtleties has made innovation his main goal. Inspired by the continuous degree of experimentation in the techno/house realm and stirred by the on-going minimalist sounds, Rodrigo is always pushing himself think and step forward.

Be sure to check out his up coming EP  release with his moniker "Crawlie" with remixes from Shin Nishimura and mossmoss.
