This critically acclaimed metal band has appeared on MTV2's Headbangers Ball. Formed in 1998, the band emerged from the Boston metal scene to open for such acts as Slayer and Anthrax, with appearances at Ozzfest as well. Soilwork is a unique brand of coalesced Swedish metal. Formed in 1997 the band (originally called Inferior Breed) would become more than well-known within the Melodic Death scene, especially in Germany. Crafting dangerous melodies, adding layers of atmospheric texture and unconventional uses of keyboards set the band apart. Some of their releases include 'A Predator's Portrait,' 'Chainheart Machine' and 'Steelbath Suicide.' Lamb of God plays pure American metal.
