We are very privileged to be able to present this special treat for the young and young at heart in our monthly Kinder Matinee.
This is not your usual puppet theater, because the Kasper’s creator Uwe Spillmann doesn’t use a stage, but a basket called a Kasperkiepe to present his tall puppet-tales.
On his North American tour he stops in at the Goethe-Institut with two favorite pieces of his:

"Die Reise zur Pirateninsel"
A horrifying, but rather stupid pirate steals Kasper’s bell. With the help of the audience and a quickly built ship, Kasper manages to reach the pirate’s island. Will Kaspar be able to fool the pirate and get his bell back...?

"Die drei Zauberfedern"
It’s great, that the witch teaches Kasper and the kids how to do magic. Not so great, however, when they go right ahead and make a mistake, thus turning Kasper into a stinking pig.
Now it’s up to a princess or prince to save the poor devil with a kiss...
