Kids Read Comics Opening Event: Dave Roman, Raina Telgemeier & Kevin Coppa June 17, 2011

Raina ("SMILE," "Baby-Sitters Club) and Dave (Astronaut Academy, X-Men: Misfits) discuss how comics affected their lives and do some comics readings from graphic novels with audience participation.

Stay for part two when Kevin Coppa joins Dave to entertain with puppets from the fan favorite "Puppetbenders" and show the work involved in making these web shorts. Held in conjunction with the Kids Read Comics Celebration 2011 at the Chelsea District Library, June 18-19.
