DDR, 1981, directed by Rolf Losansky, 84 Min., with: Nicole Lichtenheld, Ricardo Roth, Karin Duewel …
Carola is in 4th grade and if it weren’t for Willi her best friend she would die of boredom.
That’s why she proclaims “World ghost day” and trades bodies with a little ghost who then actually loves going to school.
So much even that he does not want to switch back and Carola is now stuck in the ghost’s silly shape….

The monthly Kinder Matinee provides a forum for our many little friends and German learners: in addition to a feature film we will showcase childrens materials from our Media Lounge.
The occasional puppet theater and an annual bookfair compliment the program.
The children can play, draw, meet and mingle and parents have opportunity to meet like-minded families.

Library card holders may borrow and return materials during the Matinee which may be kept until the following matinee.

Suggested Donation: $ 5.- per family.
Please note that all childrens films are in German without subtitles unless otherwise noted.
Parking in the building is free during the Matinee.
