Professional chef and nutritionist, Vanessa Lee Rubin, teaches young chefs ages 12 to 15, recipes using farm-fresh fruits. Sample recipes include fruit salad with sweet mint dressing, and crepes with fresh cherry sauce. This class is 20$ per child. Limited scholarships are available. Class will be held at the PSU Portland Farmers Market from 8:30- 10 a.m., July 18th. Because these events usually sell out, pre-registration is strongly recommended.
