A Deaf Action Center benefit
Culinary artists will meet to compete for $1000 in cash prize money
this Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at Plano Legacy YMCA for the
best-grilled chicken drumstick and/or the best fried chicken drumstick.
The Kickn Chickn Drumstick Cook-Off is a fundraiser for the Deaf
Action Centers Teen Leadership Summits for Deaf & Hard of Hearing
Girls and Boys. All are welcome to register by August 20 to cook.

The registration fee is $50 per team.
Set up for all the culinary chefs is 9 a.m. Judging begins at 1 p.m.
The public is invited to sample the contestants wares starting at 11
a.m. The tasting fee is a $5 donation as you never know if the judges
might have eaten all the chicken!
All the action happens at Plano Legacy YMCA, 5101 Tennyson Pkwy, in
