Please join us at KGB for another dazzling installment of the now legendary Sunday Night Fiction Series, with featured writers Deb Olin Unferth and Anne Landsman.

Deb Olin Unferth is the author of Minor Robberies (McSweeney's 2007), a collection of stories sold as one volume of One Hundred and Forty-Five Stories in a Small Box. Her fiction has appeared in Harper's, Conjunctions, NOON, McSweeney's, Fence, the Pushcart Prize anthologies, the anthology New Sudden Fiction, and elsewhere.

"Unferth's genre-busting Minor Robberies specializes in dark fairy-tale-like stories and wickedly clever narratives...Unferth captures a distinctly tragic and funny off-kilter world."
--Leigh Newman, Time Out New York

Anne Landsman (www.annelandsman.com) is the author of the novels The Devil's Chimney, nominated for four awards including the PEN/Hemingway Award for a distinguished first book of fiction, and The Rowing Lesson (Soho Press, November 2007; Granta (UK), 2008). Originally from South Africa, she lives in New York City with her husband and two children.

“An elegy for a lost father and a beloved world on the point of disappearing. Rarely in South African writing will we encounter language of such fire and passion. ˜
-- Nobel Prize Winner J.M. Coetzee on The Rowing Lesson
