Join us for a summer evening of cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres and shopping to support S.A.F.E. (Shelter, Arts, Families and Education) program,the New York City based theatre and arts education non-profit organization’s homeless families program. A handsome portion of the sales will be donated in support of the two-year old homeless program; S.A.F.E. is designed to engage homeless families in creative experiences that foster self-expression, literacy development and quality family time.



S.A.F.E. was developed after Making Books Sing’s 2007 main-stage production, A Shelter in Our Car and the organization desire to serve homeless women and children, who make up approximately 80% of New York City’s homeless population. S.A.F.E. residency programs have taken place at four shelters in the Bronx and prepares for a new residency in Brooklyn with Partnership for the Homeless.
