Ken Fowser Sextet September 19, 2012

Ken Fowser, a "young lion" tenor saxophonist who studied with Eric Alexander and often leads sextets inspired by groups like "One For All" is returning to Smoke with a powerful new lineup. He has invited musical partner and vibraphonist Behn Gillece who is featured on Fowser's most recent Positone release 'Little Echo' to fill out a front line that includes trumpeter Josh Bruneau as well as a swinging rhythm section that includes Rick Germanson, Russell Hall and Jason Brown.
