Ken Bonfield - Artistry of the Guitar Workshop May 22, 2010

Ken Bonfield, Peter Janson, and Steve Davison enjoy helping other guitarists along their own path towards guitar artistry, so they will be holding a GUITAR WORKSHOP in the morning, from 10 or 10:30am (to be determined) to 11:30am or noon. The workshop is a wonderful opportunity for guitarists at all levels to spend quality time with the performers. Call ahead to Register --this will guarantee you a place in the workshop. Guitarists, bring your guitars and questions. These masters of the acoustic guitar will cover topics such as alternate tunings, right and left hand technique, composition and performance. Guitarists of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.

Artistry of the Guitar, a player-in–the-round concert series developed by Ken Bonfield of Boston, MA, will feature Mr. Bonfield in concert Friday evening at 7:30pm, joined by Peter Janson of Boston, MA and Steve Davison of Little Rock, AR. The instrumental music focuses on contemporary American Fingerstyle Guitar with forlk, jazz, Celtic, classical and blues influences. In solo and ensemble pieces, the three guitartist present a wide range of styles that showcase the guitar.
