A native of Australia, Keith Urban played country festivals from the age of 10, yet he says his guitar playing was influenced by Mark Knopfler and Lindsay Buckingham -- both rock musicians. Keith's first major country hit was 'It's a Love Thing' in 2000. He's now embarking on a new tour to support his latest album, 'Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing.' Carrie Underwood was proclaimed America's choice in season four of Fox's hit series, 'American Idol.' Already a hit with ad agencies (she's a spokesperson for several high-profile brands), she is also on the verge of a decent career in the country music field as well.
