“Keeping Our Kids Safe from Bullying, Cliques, and On the Web” featuring best-selling author Margaret Sagarese will be held Tuesday, February 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at The Majestic 11 Theatre, 940 14th Place, Vero Beach. This free parenting workshop will give parents the tools they need to keep their kids safe at home, at school, in their real-world neighborhoods, and on the internet. While their parents attend this presentation, a free movie and childcare will be provided for children of all ages. Margaret Sagarese with her co-author Charlene Gianetti has written six books about young adolescents. Keeping Your Daughter’s Feet on the Ground When Her Head Is in the Clouds, and Good Parents, Tough Times, Cliques.

The Connected 4 Kids Coalition is an organization made up of Indian River County
agencies that serve children. Its founder and leader is Barbara Schlitt Ford, Executive Director of the Youth Guidance Mentoring & Activities Program of Indian River County. C4K’s mission is to benefit children living in Indian River County by connecting organizations, information, resources, and families to one another. This Coalition works together to share information, collaborate on group projects, and connect families in need of services with the resources available to most efficiently meet children’s physical and emotional needs. Its motto is “Working together, because our kids deserve our best!”
