Is it art? Is it a book? Or is it both? OCAD professors George Walker and Peter Sramek, and book artist Lise Melhorn-Boe talk about the metamorphoses between art and books. The panel will explore the role of technology, show examples of the fusion between art and publishing and highlight the Toronto Public Library's new Altered Books Collection.
Afterwards, Toronto Public Library's Bill Hamade, Special Collections Department head and exhibition curator will lead a tour of Art Under Cover: an exhibition of Artist Books in the TD Gallery at Toronto Reference Library.
Dave Dyment, Director of Programming and Publications, Mercer Union, hosts.
