Presenting the queens of sultry sound, sisters of mercy, saints of scarred souls, society’s hangover, and Calamity Jane’s bachelorette party. The eminent, prominent, and decadent ladies of our time: Katzenjammer!

The bugle call that signals the entrance of the all-female quartet Katzenjammer onto the Norwegian stage, and now the international music scene, stems from the band’s first hit single, the whirlwind song called “A Bar in Amsterdam.”

The trumpet fanfare is just one of Katzenjammer’s vast array of instrumental hooks, recently utilized to wake up the audience at the opening of the Spellemannprisen, the Norwegian Grammy Awards. Katzenjammer was nominated for ”Newcomer of the Year” for their debut album, Le Pop, but the fact that they were chosen to open the awards ceremony confirmed the band had already established themselves as the most entertaining new act on the thriving Norwegian music scene.

Also performing will be the locally-known Mighty Tiny. Imagine, if you will, an evening of performance that journeys into the depths of musical madness. A journey guided by six masked lunatics playing tunes dating back to the golden days of Tin Pan Alley - those days where songwriting meant more than a weepy man with a guitar at your local coffee house. When you see Mighty Tiny, you're part of an entire experience, and not simply a concert. Join the masquerade and find out for yourself, won't you?!
