Katoomba Winter Magic Festival June 20, 2008

Katoomba's celebration of Winter Solstice is somewhat more energetic and emphatic than you might find on the plains.

It is also a time when the main street of one of Australia’s most famous towns, Katoomba, is handed back to the community.

A time when artists and buskers, dancers and drummers, singers and snake handlers, jugglers and gymnasts, musicians and mass choirs take over the town.
