Kathleen Madigan makes her long awaited return to the DC Improv on September 21st thru 25th.
Ten years ago Kathleen gave stand-up a try at an open mic night in St. Louis, Missouri. At the time she was a freelance journalist and a waitress. Within two years she quit her jobs and hit the road touring the Midwest and South as a feature act. Soon she was headlining clubs across the nation.
Since then she has won "Best Female Stand-up Comedian", has filmed her own HBO special, and has made numerous appearances on "The Late Show" with David Letterman and "The Tonight Show".
She recently just finished her second HBO special and released her own CD called "Live".
What's there left to do? Kathleen hopes to retire and move to Ireland and drink as much Guinness as humanly possible.
