Katha Pollitt speaks with fellow journalist and writer Anna Quindlen about personal and political writing. Pollitt has been a columnist for The Nation since 1980. The title essay of her most recent collection, Learning to Drive, created quite a stir when it was published in The New Yorker 2002. Anna Quindlen is a Pulitzer-prize winning columnist and a novelist. Her most recent book of essays is Loud and Clear.
